In this video I show you how easy it is to fix one of the Xbox One’s most glaring flaws… the limited storage space. These days every game needs to be installed to the hard drive and they almost always have huge multi-gigabyte patches that have to be installed before you can even play them. The stock 500 GB hard drive on the Xbox One is simply not big enough to handle all that data.
Luckily you can easily add external hard drives to increase your storage capacity. I picked up a 2TB Western Digital drive that is unpowered. I chose an unpowered drive because I don’t have a lot of power outlets left anymore around my home theater. Watch below as I demonstrate how to set one up.
